Ms. Selena Sujoldzic was born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Due to the genocide and ethnic cleansing, Ms. Sujoldzic and her family were resettled to the United States in 1995 with the help of human and refugee rights organizations. Since then, her life’s goal has been to further human and refugee rights. Ms. Sujoldzic obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University and a law degree from the University of Kansas. She currently lives in Wichita, Kansas where she works as an attorney. She serves on the Board of Directors for Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS), and is a planning committee member for LIRS’ Refugee and Migrant Academy. Ms. Sujoldzic is most proud of contributing to her community through education on human rights issues.
