Som Nath Subedi Adds a Touch of Realism to World Refugee Day

June 20th was both the 222nd General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church and World Refugee Day, where at a joint presentation our Delegate Som Nath Subedi got an opportunity to humanize politicized discussions of the US Resettlement Program. He shared parts of his trials as a refugee making his way to the US from Bhutan, and then the paradoxes of the American Dream he confronted upon arrival.
